Delete your account
Ranked Africa is owned and operated by Asterline Technologies Limited (RC 9767506). You can request deletion of your Ranked Africa account and the personal data associated with it at any time.
Delete your account in the app
- Sign in to Ranked Africa.
- Open Profile, then Settings.
- Open Account & privacy.
- Select Delete account and confirm the deletion.
The app immediately signs out every session after the request succeeds.
If you cannot sign in
Email privacy@rankedafrica.com from the address registered to your account with the subject “Ranked Africa account deletion request”. We may ask for limited information needed to verify that the account belongs to you. Never send us your password.
What is deleted or anonymised
- Your name, email address, gaming identifier, avatar and other direct account identifiers.
- Your active sessions, mobile-device registrations and push-notification tokens.
- Your public profile is retired and no longer identifies you.
- The anonymised account record is permanently purged after a limited retention period, currently 30 days.
What may be retained
Verified match and rating-ledger entries may remain in anonymised form so that deleting one account does not make another player’s historical record inaccurate. Private evidence, messages, dispute material, security records or audit records may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve an active matter, prevent fraud, establish or defend legal claims, or comply with an applicable obligation. They are not retained as an active public player profile.
