Fair play & verification

Ranked Points only move on results both players can stand behind. Here is how that works, in plain terms.

How a ranked result becomes official

Friendlies stay friendlies

A game does not affect RP merely because somebody won it. Both players must agree that the match is Ranked before kickoff, or an authorised organiser must publish it under a competition’s locked rules. A friendly cannot be turned into a Rated result afterwards.

Interrupted matches keep their context

Power, network and game failures are recorded separately from the score. Players can agree to replay, submit what happened or dispute the claim. An interruption does not silently become a loss, and a walkover never fabricates RP for a match that was not played.

Organised competition uses the same standard

A tournament or league may decide who advances, but RP moves only for matches that were actually played and verified. Administrative outcomes such as no-shows or disqualification remain competition decisions rather than invented game results.

Conduct

Fabricating evidence, submitting results for matches that were never accepted, or filing abusive or knowingly false disputes can lead to restrictions or removal from the network. Ranked Africa exists to make honest results mean something — behaviour that undermines that is taken seriously.

Specific competition rules may add format and advancement terms, but they cannot weaken the identity, evidence or audit boundaries described here.
