About the service

These terms form an agreement between you and Asterline Technologies Limited, a Nigerian private company limited by shares (RC 9767506). Asterline Technologies Limited owns and operates Ranked Africa as an independent competitive-gaming platform. Ranked Africa provides player and team profiles, challenges, rankings, match records, evidence review, community features and selected organiser-operated competition services. Features may differ by game, platform, location and release stage.

Accounts and participation

• You must provide accurate information that is yours to use.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account and gaming identities.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Ranked Africa account.
• Competition eligibility may depend on game, platform compatibility, verified identity, location or published event rules.
• Ranked Africa may restrict accounts that threaten player safety, result integrity or platform reliability.

Suspension, termination and deletion

You may delete your account from the Account & privacy section of the app or follow the instructions on our account-deletion page. We may restrict, suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect players, investigate abuse, comply with law or enforce these terms. Account deletion removes or anonymises personal identifiers; anonymised competitive ledger entries may remain where they are needed to keep other players’ verified records accurate. Privacy and data use

Our Privacy Notice explains how Ranked Africa processes, publishes and shares information. Core account and competition processing is separate from optional direct marketing or the sharing of non-public information for sponsorship, scouting and similar commercial opportunities. Agreeing to these terms does not remove a consent choice that applicable law requires us to offer separately.

Ranked matches and results

• A match affects Ranked Points only when its Ranked terms were accepted before play or published by an authorised organiser.
• RP stakes and protected terms are locked before the result is applied.
• Players must submit results honestly and provide evidence when requested by the product or an operator.
• Ranked Africa may approve, correct, hold, request more evidence or void a result following review.
• Walkovers, no-shows and administrative disqualifications do not fabricate RP for a match that was not played.

Ranked Points are a competitive rating only. They are not money, virtual currency or property; they cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, deposited, withdrawn or redeemed for cash or another item of value. Ranked Africa does not accept or manage bets, wagers or player-funded prize pools.

An official Ranked Friday edition may offer a cash prize funded by Asterline Technologies Limited, while other editions may offer no prize. Entry is always free: no purchase, entry fee, deposit or wager is required. Winners are determined by verified competitive results, not by chance. Prize availability and amount are not displayed or guaranteed by the app; where a prize applies, it is communicated separately and paid outside the app after the result and eligibility review. The applicable communication must state the eligible finishes, deadlines, result process, disqualification grounds, payment timing and cancellation terms.

Profiles, careers and public information

A public profile may show the information you chose to publish together with verified competitive facts such as results, RP, standings, rivalries, team records and approved career achievements. Operator-prepared career records remain private until the player accepts them. “Verified Pro” is an editorial designation and is not a guarantee of employment, sponsorship, prize money or future selection.

Third-party opportunities

Ranked Africa may help teams, organisers, media, scouts, sponsors and other partners discover players through public profiles and verified competitive records. An introduction, feature or opportunity is not an endorsement, employment offer, sponsorship guarantee or assurance that a third party is suitable. Players and third parties remain responsible for their own communications, due diligence and agreements.

Evidence and acceptable use

Do not submit fabricated, unlawful, abusive or infringing material; impersonate another player; manipulate results; collude to farm RP; interfere with the service; or misuse another person’s personal information. Evidence is stored privately and is available only through authorised review paths.

Competition disclaimer

Organiser-run tournaments, leagues and circuits may carry their own published rules, schedules, advancement paths, streaming requirements and prizes. The named organiser remains responsible for its competition decisions unless a written agreement states otherwise. A competition result and an RP result are related but distinct: advancement can reflect a walkover or aggregate score while RP moves only on played, verified matches.

Intellectual property

The Ranked Africa name, logo, software and original site content belong to Ranked Africa. Player, team and organiser content remains subject to the rights of its owner and any licence required to display or process it. Third-party game names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively only.

When you submit content, you give Ranked Africa a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, resize, format, display and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, explain and promote the service or the competition to which it relates. You keep ownership of your content. Any materially different commercial use remains subject to the Privacy Notice, applicable consent requirements and third-party rights.

Game non-affiliation

Ranked Africa is independent and is not affiliated with or sponsored by Electronic Arts Inc., Konami Digital Entertainment or their licensors. “EA SPORTS FC”, “eFootball” and related marks belong to their respective owners. Ranked Africa operates independent rankings and records; it does not claim to be an official publisher ranking authority.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Internet, game-server, platform and third-party-provider failures can affect matches and notifications. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ranked Africa is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service or participation in a competition.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nothing in these terms removes a right or remedy that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude.
