How to start playing Ranked EA FC

  1. Create your player profile. Add your EA FC gaming identity and the platform you play on. Complete the identity checks shown in the app before entering rated competition.
  2. Find compatible competition. Choose an eligible opponent or an open challenge. Check the game version, platform and match mode together; owning EA FC alone does not make every player compatible.
  3. Agree that the match is Ranked. Review the timing, format and RP stakes before kickoff. Both players should know which fixture they are playing.
  4. Submit the result and evidence. Your opponent can respond. A disputed result goes through review before it becomes official.
  5. Build your record. Verified results feed your player history and Ranked Points. Public board qualification is separate from simply creating an account.

Before your next match

Confirm the opponent, platform, mode and agreed fixture. Keep the result evidence attached to that match. If play is interrupted or the score is disputed, use the match’s reporting flow so the context stays with the result.

EA FC player questions

Is this for FIFA players too?

If you use “FIFA” to mean EA SPORTS FC, this is the community guide for you. Check the supported game version in Ranked Africa; older FIFA releases are not automatically supported.

Can PS5 and Xbox players compete?

Eligibility depends on the competition’s supported platforms and mode. Published tournament pages identify their platform requirements. The challenge flow checks compatibility before you agree a match.

Do I need to be a professional?

No. Start with a compatible rival or your own Circle. You can build experience and a verified record before entering competitions whose requirements you meet.

Does every friendly change my ranking?

No. The players must agree a Ranked match beforehand, and its result must be verified. A friendly cannot become Ranked afterwards just because someone won.
